Not so great moments in fruit

Ok thisssss was a miscommunication. When we put the word "preserved" in front of the word "mango" I picture something fruity and sweet. "Preserved" DOES technically also mean "pickled" but suffice it to say that's not what I was expecting.

On the plus side, I found a grocery store and had a complete blast. Without a shared word between us, the checkout lady was really friendly and was trying to tell me something. I later discovered she had assessed my purchases and added the little extras I would need: a plastic spoon to go with the yoghurt, a straw for the chocolate milk.
